Jack Kelly is a machine learning researcher who's terrified by climate change and determined to help reduce emissions. Jack left Google DeepMind in December 2018 to build Open Climate Fix. At DeepMind, Jack worked as a research engineer, using neural networks to predict wind power. Open Climate Fix is a non-profit entirely focused on using open science to mitigate climate change. Our first project uses machine learning and weather predictions to produce short-term forecasts for solar PV power production.
